This has got to be the weirdest thing I've experienced yet: if my Emagic Logic XS key (USB copy-protection dongle) is inserted into a USB port, VEGAS 4 DOES NOT RUN!!
All I get it the Vegas 4 splash screen and then nothing. And it's entirely empirical and repeatable: I put the key in, Vegas won't run; I take the key out, Vegas runs fine. And it happens on any of the USB ports on my system.
I uninstalled, reinstalled, uninstalled... but nothing makes a difference. Vegas 3 didn't have this problem.
Is this happening to anyone else? I'm going to send this one to customer service...
