Is Vegas better for me to use than ACID?

I like and use ACID everyday for my work. My question is: Is Vegas better for me to use than ACID?
Example: I use acid loops and record my own tracks in the project. I also work with video using Premiere on a daily basis.
I like the demo of Vegas.
I want to have the best multi-track recording program that SF offers but I think I've read that ACID isn't the best choice?

The best choice is having both!
Then again, I have both, so I guess I'm biased.

Vegas is a multitrack app - Acid is a loop/production app (extraordinaire)!
Having both is the best of both worlds. But if you're needing a multitrack app that can record more than 2 channels at once, then Vegas is it. Incredibly powerful editing as well.

I don't need to record more than one track at a time. I'm still confused, what's is the main difference between ACID and Vegas?

Why not experiment with the full demos and make your decision from there? Only you can determine which will be right for your work and particular style.

If you work with a lot of loops pick ACID. If not pick VEGAS.

"I use acid loops and record my own tracks in the project."

If you do this, you NEED Acid.
Maybe you should explain where exactly you encounter limitations using Acid. If people here see that Vegas would be ideal for your needs, they'll give you the run-down on the best solution.
Also, maybe post this in the Acid forum. Explain there what you do with Acid and ask if it offers the capabilities to do what you need to do.
Ex: I use Acid to add loops to my recorded tracks(one at a time) but I also need to score video of up to 1 hr duration.

Acid is used to score video, not to make video montages. You import a completed video into Acid to score it. You create the video in Vegas.
That's why we mentioned having both.

The largesse pix..? you need both at some point, I think...and what one said previously in a prior, sf6 to tweak, cda to burn, so...
