I read on Sonic Foundry's website that the 5.1 plug-in is a plug-in for Acid. Is this also a plug-in for Sound Forge, and if so, even an earlier version like 4.5? If so, I'm very intrigued at the possibilities of mixing my music and SFX in 5.1!!! And Sound Forge allows me to import video files as well, which, even though it's "sample-level" editing, would allow me to perfectly sync up the 5.1 audio with video, a truly exciting prospect!

Sound Forge is a stereo-only editor; it doesn't handle files with more than two channels. This would make it pretty hard to create 5.1 mixes. It's been stated that it will work with the next version of Vegas though.
