Burn CDs At Slower Speeds in CDA??

Greetings,

I've just received an Optorite CDRW drive. CDA was able to detect it as an MMC compatible drive, however I can only burn at max. I have VV3, which can burn CDs down to speeds of 1X for this drive. I prefer to use CDA as VV3 is a bit cumbersome for me at the time. Is there any way for me to get the drive speed down in CDA?

If the drive was not listed on the CD-A Supported Drive List (http://www.sonicfoundry.com/CDArchitect/drvsupp.asp?Nav=0), there is not way to guarantee it will work correctly with the program. Check with the manufacturer for any firmware updates that may trigger more compatibility with CD-A.
