My headphones work fine with the Win Media Player, but when I play a wav file in SF6a only the speakers work. They worked fine with SF5f. Also, now that I have SF6a, my SF5f version will not play on the headphones either.

weird. i have a Live 5.1 as well, and i have no such problem. i'm assuming your using the headphone jack on the dock extension that you got with the card, or did you plug it directly into the headphone jack of the card itself?

I found the problem myself. I turned out to be a driver update to Creative Labs Media Driver Version 5.1.2602.0. This version causes the headphone output to function quite differently when playing SF files.

It was due to the latest Creative Labs Media Driver Version 5.1.2602.0. I am plugged directly into the headphone jack on the card. I do not have a dock extension since it came with the computer.
